EasySpooler is preconfigured with a number of printer formats that enable it to format a document for various types of printers. Formatting means sending special printer-recognized control codes before and after the actual print file to tell the printer to do special formatting like landscape or envelope printing.
EasySpooler is configured various printer formats, which reflect the contents of the printer capability (pcap) file. You can change any of the formats. In addition, you can create additional format definitions for output devices that use ASCII control sequences.
To view the information in the Printer Capability Formats window:
Click Admin on the main menu and select Pcap formats from the menu options. The Printer Capability Formats window opens.
