View or Change Global Tuning Parameters

On the General, Network, and Miscellaneous, tabs, the Description column provides information on each parameter and the Value column shows current setting. The Default Value column shows the default setting for each parameter. You can change the value of any parameter.

To change a value of a global tuning parameter on the General, Network or Miscellaneous tab:

1. Click Admin in the main menu and select Global tuning from the menu options. The Global Tuning page opens.

2. Click the tab (General, Network, or Miscellaneous) on which the parameter appears.

3. Change the value of the parameter.

4. Click OK. The new value takes effect.

CAUTION: If you change the parameter enable_suppgrps, the change will not have any effect on users who are currently logged in to the Web UI until the next time they log in. Security may not work correctly for users who remain logged in after the change.
