Add Multiple Discovered Destinations

To add multiple destinations from the Printer Discovery page:

1. Click Destinations in the main menu and select Printer Discovery from the menu options.

2. If necessary, run printer discovery. See Discover Printers.

3. Select the check box in front of the printers you want to add. Click the left mouse button and select Bulk add from the drop-down options. The Add Destinations window opens.

4. Select the Home node for the destinations.

5. Select one of the four options for Naming scheme for the new destinations:

   • Host name.

   • Host name and port number.

   • Use a prefix with the destination number. If you select this option, enter the prefix, for example, lp.

   • Prefix destination number. If you select this option, enter the Prefix and the Starting number. For example, the prefix Sales and the starting number of 100 would result in printers Sales100, Sales101, Sales102, and so on.

6. If you selected one of the prefix options, the field Number length is displayed. Enter a number to indicate the total number of digits that should be used in the destination number. EasySpooler adds zeros in front of numbers that have fewer digits. For example, if you enter 4 in this field, the sales printers would be Sales0100, Sales0101, Sales0102, and so on.

7. Click OK. The Adding Device Destinations window opens and displays the results.

8. Click Close.

The printers are now visible on the Destinations list window.
