Default permissions pertain to users not defined as individual users in User Permissions or as group users in Group Permissions. When first installed, EasySpooler gives undefined users the following default permissions:
User role (includes the SubmitDoc, ListDoc, ViewDoc, ModifyDoc, DeleteDoc and ListDest capabilities)
Access to all destinations
To add or change a default permissions definition:
Click Admin on the main menu.
Click the Security menu option then select Default permissions from the second drop-down list. The Change permissions window opens.
If
you want to add a new default permission, click +Add
permissions. If you want to change the default permission click
the select icon at the end of the appropriate
row.
The Permissions Definition window opens. See Using the Permissions Definition Window for information about the fields on the Permissions Definition window. When you are finished adding entries on the Permissions Definition window, the Change Permissions window will be displayed with your selections.
On the Change Permissions
window, to reorder the destination entries, use the sequencing icon
to the left of the entries to drag them into the desired order to
get the results you want.
Tips:
If you have denied access to a destination, destination range or destination list, an exclamation point (!) appears to the left of entry. You will want denial access to be listed first because EasySpooler looks for the first match. If the denial access entry were listed after an entry that gave access to @All destinations the denial would be ignored.
If you want to give default access to only a specific destination, the single destination entry should be listed first. A second entry showing !None would be listed after the entry for access to a specific destinatioWn.
To delete a default permission:
Click Admin on the main menu.
Click the Security menu option then select Default permissions from the second drop-down list. The Change Permissions window opens.
Click
to the right of the permission that you want to delete.
Click OK on the Change Permissions window.
