Security: Group Mapping - Add, Change or Delete

 

Group Mapping

To add a group map:

  1. Click Admin on the main menu.

  2. Click the Security option then select Group mappings from the second drop-down list. The Group Mapping window opens.

  3. Click +Add group mapping. The Add Mapping window opens.

  4. Enter the name of the group in the Group name field.

  5. Enter a name of a user in the Map to User field and/or a name of a group in the Map to Group field.

  6. Take the appropriate action:

  1. Click OK.

  2. Click Close on the Group mappings window.

 

To change a group map:

  1. Click Admin on the main menu.

  2. Click the Security option then select Group mappings from the second drop-down list. The Group Mapping window opens.

  3. Click the select icon to the right of the name of the group whose map you want to change. The Change Mapping window opens for that group.

  4. Make the necessary changes.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Close on the Group mappings window.

 

To delete a group map:

  1. Click Admin on the main menu.

  2. Click the Security option then select Group mappings from the second drop-down list. The Group Mapping window opens.

  3. Click the delete icon  to the right of the group's name on the Group Mappings window.
