Document Status Indicators

The Status column appears on both the Active Documents and Inactive Documents lists.

 

NOTE: Do not confuse the document status indicators with alerts or destination status indicators.

 

The following table lists the types of status indicators that may be displayed, along with the actions you may need to take, if any.

Document Status Indicators

Status

Definition

Action

ready

The document is in the Destination Queue ready to be processed.

None.

processing

The document is currently processing.

None.

hold

The document is on hold and processing will not begin until the document is released.

Click on the document and select Release from the pop-up menu to release the document immediately.

stuck

The document is too large to be sent to the system where the printer is homed.

  • Click on the document and select Change destination to move the document to another printer, where it will be placed on hold.

  • Click on the document and select Delete from the pop-up menu to cancel document processing and delete the document.

NOTE: The document will be removed from the system, not placed in the inactive queue.

finished

The document has finished processing and has been put back into the active queue on hold.

Click on the document and select Release from the pop-up menu when you want to submit it again.

Q_Stat_Spooling

 This status may appear briefly for very large documents. If the status of the document does not change, a problem has occurred. EasySpooler will remove the document automatically.  
 
You may also click on the document and select Delete from the pop-up menu.

inactive

On the Inactive documents list:

  • The processing of the document is complete and it is ready to be retrieved from the destination.

  • The processing of the document was deactivated by you or another EasySpooler user.

  • Submit the document again at another time, if desired.

  • Change the document save time.

NOTE: Once the amount of time passes that is set for the destination or in the savetime parameter, the document is no longer displayed on the Inactive Documents window.
