Introduction

ROC EasySpooler is output management software that gives a centralized view and control over output, whether it is routed to printers, fax machines, the Web, email, or a PDF file. EasySpooler provides for reliable delivery and gives you control over documents, whether the output is a simple text file, a graphics file, a binary file, or another type of file.

While a document is in the queue waiting to be processed, you have the opportunity to make changes of various kinds: change the number of copies, change the form, put it on or take it off hold, and so on. The features in EasySpooler enable multiple users to manage all of the document processing that is currently scheduled across the network using a single, shared view.

EasySpooler's Web-based interface requires an Internet browser, such as Microsoft® Edge®, Google® Chrome™, or Mozilla Firefox®. Most of the features of these browsers are compatible with EasySpooler. However, you should not use the browser's Back button. Instead, use the main menu in EasySpooler to navigate. When you are finished working in EasySpooler, you should click Logout.

Using EasySpooler you can:

• View documents being processed

• Search for a specific document

• Change a document's destination

• Manage documents

• Manage destinations

• Track user, department, and destination usage; impose quotas

• Submit a document for processing (print/email/fax/other)

• Split a document for processing by multiple printers (SimulPrint)

• Create a new destination

• Discover printers

• Create destination aliases

• Edit destination print formats

• Manage the EasySpooler server

• Display the server log
